Day 1: Ahmedabad
( Delhi ) Agra On arrival at Delhi domestic Airport, our
company represetative will meet & greet you . He will hand over you the companys
hotel exchange & sight seeing vouchers and also introduce to you the drive
of the car , which will be with you till your departure at International Airport
. Before leaving for Agra ( which is around 4 hours drive from Delhi) you can
have a look of Modern Capital of India by visiting India Gate, the Presidents
House & the Parliament. Visit Humayun's Tomb : built in mid 16th century this
is an early example of Mughal architecture; Qutab Minar.
Delhi : Indias
capital & a major gateway to the country, contemporary Delhi is a bustling
metropolis which successfully combines in its fold the ancient & the modern.
Its strategic location was one of the prime reasons why successive dynasties chose
it as their seat of power. New Delhi also reflects the legacy the British left
behind . The division between New & Old Delhi is the distinction between the
capitals of the British & the Moghuls respectively. So, wherever the visitor
goes, he will invariably confront the citys past. Drive to Agra after lunch
( restaurant will be suggested to you as per your liking ). On the way to Agra
visit Sikandra . This place is where you will find Emperor Akbar [1542-1605]-The
Great's tomb. Akbar was the greatest mughal emperor. During his reign, he managed
to conquer most of India. He ruled India well. Both Hindu and Muslim people liked
him for his kindness and bravery. He was the master ruler of entire mughal empire.
Arrive Agra by later afternoon / Evening , check inn at Hotel. Agra , ( information

within the state of Uttar Pradsh having three world heriatge Sites. It achieved
prominence as the capital of the Mugal sovereigns from 1526 to 1658 and remains
a major tourist destination because of its many splendid Mughal-era buildings,
most notably the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort and fatehpur Sikri. The city, called Agrabana
in the epic Mahabharata ( is one of the three major ancient Sanskit epics of India
) . The city was fortified by Badal Singh in 1475, whose Fort, Badalgarh stood
near the site of the present
Red Fort . Agra was a capital of the Lodi
kingdom, defeated by the first Mugal Emperor Babar. The Mughals also began to
use it as a capital. Agra's importance grew during the reigns of Akbar, Jehangir
and Shah Jahan, and became a major center of art, culture, commerce and learning.

Day
2 : Agra Early morning before breakfast Go for the highlight of the day
visit The Taj Mahal at sunrise ( Please note that Taj Mahal is closed on
Friday), which was constructed by Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal.
Contruction of the Taj began in 1631 and was not completed until 1653. Return
to hotel for breakfast . Proceed for sight-seeing after breakfast. Later on proceed
for remaining sight seeing of Agra , which include, Red fort, which was built
by Emperor Akbar in 1565, and additions were made up until the time of his grandson,
Shah Jahan. It contains the hall of public and private audiences amongst many
other beautiful\ structures; After Lunch Visit Fatehpur Sikri ( can be done on
next day too). Fatehpur Sikri : abandoned Mughal city of built by Emperor Akbar
in 1569, was the old capital of the Moghuls, which was abandoned after 15 years
due to scarcity of water. See the graceful buildings including the Jama Masjid,
Tomb of Salim Chisti, Panch Mahal & other Palaces which are still preserved
in its original glory. Overnight stay at Agra.
Day 3 : Agra Delhi
( Depature) Breakfast at Hotel. Free time to relax , later on drive down
to Delhi to fly back.
