Agra Ranthombore Jaipur Delhi Day 01 Arrival
in New Delhi You will be received and transferred to your hotel . Delhi,
the capital of India was created almost six centuries ago and is one of the most
historic capitals in the world. It is home to two world heritage sites and also
hosts some of the finest museums in the country. Its boutiques and shopping arcades
offer access to a wealth of traditional and contemporary crafts from all over
the country. It has a plethora of fine dining restaurants serving cuisines from
around the world and a throbbing nightlife.

Day 02 Delhi After breakfast you will proceed to
see some sights of New Delhi. Visit the impressive India Gate and the Government
Buildings built by the British. Also drive by Rashtrapati Bhawan, the Presidents
Palace on top of Raisina Hill. After this visit the predecessor to the Taj Mahal,
the 16th Century Humayuns Tomb , the Qutub Minar. This 12th Century remarkable
tower has witnessed centuries of history and conflict during the making of the
Indian nation. Afternoon you will have a tour of Old Delhi , Visit Jama Masjid,
the largest mosque in India. Built by Shah Jahan, the construction was started
in 1844 and was not completed until 1658 ; visit Red Fort ( from out side only,
as it is not permitted to visit from inside due to security reason ), which was
also built by Shah Jehan. This massive fort was built from 1638 to 1648 ; Chandni
Chowk and Rajghat - the cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi.
Day 03 Agra Morning
after Breakfast drive to Agra. The drive to Agra will take 4 hours. On the way
out of Agra halt for a few minutes outside Akbars tomb at Sikandra for a
photo stop. The imposing and intricately decorated gateway is a must see.
The
first impression is of a chaotic, overcrowded, polluted mess that can offer nothing
of interest. But wait; hold your breath, for hiding behind the heat and the chaos
is the stunning monument of cool white marble, the wonder that is called the Taj
Mahal ( Please note that Taj Mahal is closed for visiting on Friday ) and the
red sandstone Red Fort.
On arrival in Agra check in at Hotel. Late on
proceed to the Red Fort for sightseeing. Enjoy the beauty of the imposing yet
delicate architecture of this historical building, which was the centre of the
Mughal Empires power.

04 Ranthambore In Agra layers of history are peeled away to reveal an amazing
tapestry of life - of wars waged, of great architectural magnificence and above
all a testimony of the undying love of a king for his queen. Visit the Taj Mahal
at sunrise this morning and witness the changing hues of the morning light reflect
off the white marble. Later on drive to Bharatpur ( Kelodeo Ganna Bird sanctuary).
This 2 hour drive will be made easy with a sightseeing stop at the deserted
city of Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri. Walk through the red sandstone palaces
of this unique city, which was abandoned shortly after its construction. Continue
drive to Bharatpur ( a visit to the Bird Sanctuary will be organized with a picnic
lunch )
The Bharatpur Bird Sanctuary is one of the best and famous wildlife
sanctuaries in India. It is the only wildlife sanctuary in India that is artificially
made by a Maharaja. One of the finest bird sanctuaries in the world, Bharatpur
Bird Sanctuary is located in Bharatpur city of Rajasthan and also known as the
Keoladeo Ghana National Park. Indigenous water birds and many migratory water
birds can be seen in this sanctuary along with larger animals such as Sambhar,
Chital, Nilgai and Boar. The foundation of this Bharatpur wildlife sanctuary was
laid in 1760 when the Maharaja of Bharatpur made an artificial lake and the dam
at this very site to store the water brought by the annual floods in this area.
Over 300 bird species are found in this 29-sq-kms-wildlife park of divided into
the stretches of marshes, scrubland and grassland. It got its name as Keoladeo
Ghana Park on account of an ancient Hindu temple at the centre of the national
park devoted to Lord Shiva. The term 'Ghana' is derived from Hindi, which means
dense and refers to the thick forest, which covers the entire area. Bharatpur
became a national park on 10 March 1982, and was given the status of a World Heritage
Site in December 1985.
later on car will drop you at Bhartpur railway
station ( we prefer to use an another car for this particular transfer because
we suggest to leave your main luggages with the car ( driver ) which will
be with you from day 1 at Delhi , he will leave Bhartpur once after you go inside
the bird sanctuary and he will deliver the luggage Ranthombore by evening.
On
arrival at Swaimadhupur Railway station our representative will pick you up and
transfer you to your hotel , overnight stay at Ranthombhore. Ranthambhor
is Located 132 km from Jaipur in Rajisthan. Swai Madhopur is the first station
to visit to Ranthambhor. It is famous for its historical value of oldest Fort.
It was founded in the 11th century. Situated in a hill and rising 250 meters above
the forested valley. The fort has enormous ramparts, mighty gates and bastions
all around the hill. National Park has been one of India's best success stories
for its conservation. Ranthambhor was one of the firsts few areas to come under
Project Tiger and has continued to be the most successful. It is the perfect place
to see the Indian Tiger in its natural environment. Established in:1955. Came
under Project Tiger: In 1973 and was declared a national park in 1980. Area:1334
sq. km. Species : Tiger, Chital, sambar, blue bull, chin Kara, leopard, hyena,
jackal, fox, caracal, jungle cat and ratel etc. Common birds : Peacocks, parakeets,
doves, partridges, storks, flycatchers, eagles, Graylag goose, ruddy she duck
, pintails black eagle and the crested hawk eagle. Best Season: The best time
for visiting Ranthambore depends on the special interest of the visitor. The park
opens from October to June. November to April are the best months.
Day
05. Ranthambore Early morning Jungle safari by Jeep , return to Hotel for
Breakfast . Day free at Leisure ( if interested can go for local sight seeing
, as our car will be on disposal for you , when ever you want you can use that
) Afternoon , once again Jungle safari by Jeep.
Overnight stay at Ranthombore.
Day 06. Jaipur Early morning Jungle safari by Jeep , return
to Hotel for Breakfast .Later on drive to Jaipur. On arrival at Jaipur Check Inn
at Hotel . Afternoon at Leisure .

Surrounded
by hills on all sides, this Rose Pink City founded by Maharaja Jai Singh II (1693-1743),
is the capital of Rajasthan. The whole city was painted pink by Maharaja Man Singh
II when Prince of Wales, later Edward VII, visited Jaipur in 1876. Today, every
home within the city is obliged by law to maintain his facade. Did you know? Jaipur,
commonly referred to as the Pink City was not actually meant to be
pink. Maharaja Jai Singh decided to paint the city in the same red
sandstone used in Delhi and Agra to symbolize imperialism. However, since the
city was made out of rubble rather than stone, the red colour turned pale and
became pink. The original red still remains in some parts of the Pink City
!!
Day 05 Jaipur This morning after breakfast head for Amber,
11 kms from Jaipur, where you will visit the magnificient Fort and its palaces.
Perched high up on the hill, this fort is what makes up fairytales. You will park
at the base of the fort ad be driven up in jeeps.
After the sightseeing
of Amber you will have a chance to visit textile/carpet factories and outlets,
which are a specialty of Jaipur. That is why the city is often referred to as
the shoppers paradise.
Visit the City Palace complex.
Here you will be able to get a glimpse of the life of the royal family of Jaipur.
Visit the various halls and exhibits in the palace. Across the palace is the amazing
open air observatory, Jantar Mantar, built in the 18th Century by the Maharaja.
It is one of the several that the intellectual king has built and is so precise
even today that it is still used by astronomers and astrologers.
Return
to hotel. Overnight stay.
Day 06 Jaipur Delhi -- Departure This
morning after breakfast stroll through the colourful and lively markets of Jaipur.
You will see the stone carvers, the bangle makers, dyers, potters, flower sellers
and spice markets. During this visit you will also see the Palace of Winds, which
is a landmark of the city. After lu After lunch drive back to Delhi. Rooms will
be provided for wash & change . After dinner departure to International airport
for next destination.
